Hi! I'm Monica, a junior UX/Product Designer based in Toronto with a background in software and web development. Open to full-time remote or in-person work, networking, and collaborating.
My journey into design wasn’t exactly linear and that’s what makes it exciting. I started out as a developer, immersed in code, structure, and solving logical puzzles. While I loved the problem-solving side, I found myself craving more creativity, more user connection, and more opportunities to think outside the box. That spark led me to make a bold shift into UX/Product design.
To make it real, I enrolled in CareerFoundry’s intense, project-based UX program where I got hands-on with real-world challenges and discovered how deeply I value crafting thoughtful, intuitive, human-centered experiences. Today, I bring both creative energy and technical insight into my work, making me a designer who can think big and build smart.
I believe the best design lives at the intersection of creativity and clarity. I love diving into user needs, building smart prototypes, and iterating with intention. As someone who appreciates beautifully designed digital tools in my own life, I’m driven to design products that feel natural and even delightful to use.
I’m excited to bring my skills to a collaborative, forward-thinking team where I can design impactful, user-centered products. I’m especially drawn to projects where there’s room to blend innovation with everyday usability.

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me cooking something exciting, immersed in the world of Formula 1, or getting inspired by the world of fashion.
